Kirk brings a wealth of relevant knowledge from nearly 19 years of corporate work experience and
professional examinations.

During his ten years at CNA Insurance Companies in Chicago, Illinois, Kirk acquired an in-depth
understanding of insurance and other risk management products. As a pricing actuary for disability
insurance and later for guaranteed investment contracts, Kirk gained knowledge of the pricing of the
different components of insurance, which will enable him to choose the products and features that best
suit your needs.

Most recently he worked for nine years at Allstate Investments, LLC in Northbrook, Illinois. As a portfolio
manager he was directly involved in the hedging of interest rate, equity and commodity risk for Allstate's
insurance business using various derivative contracts. In addition, Kirk focused on investing in corporate
credit using credit derivatives and corporate structured products. This investment experience along with
his interaction with Wall Street gives him invaluable insight into the market and different investment
vehicles.
